Language Exchange!! help us to make this community grow

You Arrived to a new country to study or maybe to work far away from your family and friends. Maybe in a place that you dont know anyone and you are starting a new life  with no friends at the moment, and you are feeling alone and because of this you make all your things by your own!

Thats my history 6 years ago when i arrived to Barcelona, far away from my country and with the time i wanted to improve my languages and i decided to start a fb page called Language Exchange in Barcelona Tandem now with more than 5600 likes and another called New in Barcelona, let's spend some time togetherwith more than 1100 likes

I started to make meet-ups more than one year ago (already 60 saturdays with non stop) walks around Barcelona, International picnics in the park, International lunch's in a restaurant of different coucine culturesand all these events for free, just like a hobby ( i do not charge ANYTHING) and this was an excelent way to connect with people from different cultures.

While these people start to meet new friends who have similar history, being far away from their countries, they started to join my meet-ups coming several times, more than just once and that helps us to know each other better, becoming friends and helping people to not feel alone in a big city.

I created a whats app group where people can propose ideas for doing different activitiesduring the week. we are 148 people already and we spend some time together. Some people left because they had to return to their country. Sometimes this is a little bit sad because you used to do a lot of things with them. Nevertheless the also visit us and we do things together again.

I started to creat these meet-ups  in other countries with people who came to my groups and liked the format that i used and the way of making new friends. They return to their countries and with my help they started to do the same i do. But now i would like to make the next step, creating a webpage to help people around the world to connect, don't feel alone and being able to feel like at home!

As i said before, joining my meet-ups are completly free, Thats why i would like to fund for this project and i want this to take place in as many countries as possible
